International Studies Minor

Campbellsville University’s Minor in International Studies spans courses in world geography, religion, citizenship, business, and culture. Students enrolled in the minor are required to study abroad in a sanctioned summer- or semester-long program. We believe that international service creates more empathetic and capable citizens.

Core requirements for the minor include World Religions, World Geography, Political Geography, Global Citizenship Experience, and a Research Practicum. In addition, students must choose 15 semester hours of Electives in Language, Business/Economics, Fine Art, or Social Science.

The student enrolling in this minor is required to study abroad (ISA 480) in a sanctioned program (summer or semester). A request for an exemption as well as an acceptable alternative must be approved by the head of international education. The exempted student must still complete a minimum of 24 credit hours to receive this minor.
