ROTC Program (offered in cooperation with Western Kentucky University)

Campbellsville University and Western Kentucky University ROTC have prepared a very flexible college program of study.

The ROTC program offers a Leadership Studies Minor in the School of Business and Economics that can be combined with any major field of study.

In addition to completing courses in the minor, all ROTC students must complete a military history course in order to be commissioned.Campbellsville University offers HST 465 Introduction to Military History. Please see the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences to determine when the course will be offered.

Leadership Studies Minor I

The ROTC student must enroll in the appropriate MSL course each of the eight semesters that comprise the freshman through senior years. This will result in a 24-hour minor.

Option: The ROTC student may enroll in the intensive summer field course, MSL 210, in lieu of the freshman and sophomore courses (101, 102, 201, 202). This will result in a 21-hour minor.

This elective course is in addition to the minimum required for the Leadership Studies Minor. It is an intensive 5-week field course taken the summer between the junior and senior years. Prerequisites: MSL 301 and MSL 302. MSL 410

The ROTC student must enroll in the appropriate MSL course beginning with the summer term before the junior year and each of the four semesters that comprise the junior and senior years.

Elective Course
