Jon Andrew is an instructor of theater at Campbellsville University. He has performed in and directed community, educational, and professional theatre for over 13 years. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, and his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi. Some of his favorite performance credits include Tartuffe in Tartuffe (USM), Peter in Peter and the Starcatcher (USM), Frog in A Year With Frog and Toad (Search Summer Dinner Theatre), and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Ozark Actors Theatre).

Jon has been recognized for his performances as a three-time finalist in the Region IV Irene Ryan Acting Competition at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, where he was also a two-time winner of the Best Classical Actor award, and winner and second runner-up of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association award.

He holds multiple certifications in stage combat disciplines, including single sword, single rapier, hand-to-hand, and broadsword, and is a certified practitioner of the Arthur Lessac vocal technique. In addition, Jon has worked as a freelance voice over artist for the past three years, voicing projects for clients such as Microsoft, Globalyceum, Inspirawork, and Intelleticket.

Jon is drawn to theatre because of the way it connects a wide variety of people in a unique way. His desire is to tell stories that provide hope and light, as well as to glorify the One who created us all and gave us purpose.
