Welcome to the School of Cosmetology!
Campbellsville University currently offers a certification program at the Technology Training Center School of Cosmetology. Our cosmetology school trains students with real-world knowledge, so that they can obtain a license to work in a spa, salon, or other beauty-related company after graduating. Whether you want to become a hair stylist, makeup artist, esthetician, salon owner, or cosmetology instructor, Campbellsville’s cosmetology classes provide the wisdom and experience to enter this creative, personable industry. Earning our certification will not only prepare you with technical mastery needed to be an expert stylist, but our foundation in Christian values will help you improve your customer service skills.
To be admitted to the cosmetology school, applicants must obtain a high school diploma or GED. Our on-campus program is comprised of 1,800 clock hours of study, which includes science and theory lectures, clinic and practice hours, and courses in administrative regulations and Kentucky statutes. Cosmetology classes include Hairstyling, Chemical Texturizing, Salon Ecology, Hair Coloring, and the Study of Nails. To earn the cosmetology degree, students must complete at least 450 lecture hours, 1,305 clinic and practice hours, and 45 hours of regulations and statutes.
