Teacher Leader Master of Arts in Special Education
Campbellsville University’s Teacher Leader Master of Arts in Special Education (TLMASE) presents graduates with a more direct pathway to teaching in the P-12 system. Aligned with the needs of today’s schools, the TLMASE program focuses on field experience and onsite research to help graduates prepare for a real classroom environment, alongside a teacher leadership focus.
The TL MASE specialization takes about 23 months to complete, with a core curriculum of research methods, classroom management, and teaching strategies for learning and behavior disorder students. This “blended” program comprises both online and on campus courses, culminating in a Teacher Action Research Project, which is decided by documented school needs and applied in the student-teacher’s own classroom.
This program is also available in a 100% online format. Learn more about Campbellsville University’s online MA in Special Education – Teacher Leader.
