The Virginia Ponser Flanagan Technology Training Center at Campbellsville University is pleased to announce the “100 Strong” celebration that will take place at Stapp Lawn in Campbellsville. This event will be held in honor of the Schools of Cosmetology and Barbering reaching 100 students! This is over a 180% growth in the number of students enrolled in these programs over the past 5 years.

The students and staff from the Schools of Cosmetology and Barbering will host the event on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be picnic-style foods, T-shirts, games, and giveaways! Come out to Stapp Lawn and help us celebrate together!

Did you know that Campbellsville University has five locations across the Commonwealth of Kentucky offering Cosmetology and Barbering educational programs? Across all locations, the Schools of Cosmetology and Barbering have reached enrollment exceeding 100 students!

History: Beginning in 2013 in Campbellsville, CU launched the first School of Cosmetology, with 30 students.  Over the next few years, CU opened locations in Hodgenville, Harrodsburg, and Somerset. In 2017, CU added the first School of Barbering location in Campbellsville.

Quickly Approaching: On April 10, 2018, CU opened a second location of the School of Barbering in Somerset! Additionally, CU has started construction to add another School of Cosmetology in the Louisville East location in Jeffersontown.
