Hsin-I Guo, born and raised in Taiwan, began her piano studies at age seven when a birthday gift from her cousin triggered her interest in the piano. Ever since she has enjoyed a life of performing, collaborating, and sharing music with others. Her recent highlights include accolades from the MTNA Young Artist Competition along with concerto performances in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. She has also appeared at music festivals such as the Klavierfestival Lindlar (Germany), International Piano Festival at The University of Houston, and Piano Arts Festival at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Hsin-I completed her undergraduate degree in music at Tainan University of Technology in Taiwan and her master’s in piano performance at Campbellsville University in Kentucky, studying at the latter with Dr. Bill Budai. She is currently pursuing a DMA in piano performance at The University of Oklahoma under Dr. Jeongwon Ham while serving as a collaborative pianist for the School of Music.
