Henrietta and Jeff Scott Art Exhibit Final Day

Oct 5, 2017

Please join us to celebrate “Lifetime Partners: Art of Jeff & Henrietta Scott” to commemorate the artistic relationship between the married couple and their impact in the Arts in Kentucky before Jeff’s passing in 2016. Henrietta Scott is a Campbellsville University adjunct and a Chowning Art Shop at Campbellsville University artist.

They owned and operated Highland Raku Studio and Gallery in Columbia, KY where they collaborated in making their trademark horsehair raku inspired by a strong interest in the American Art and Craft Movement.

Jeff was a teacher and principal at Adair County High School and later taught at Lindsey Wilson College. Henrietta was the art teacher at Adair County and received the Governor’s Award in the Arts for Art Education in 1986.

The exhibition will be on display at the Pence-Chowning Art Gallery at Campbellsville University Sept. 18- Oct. 5.  Exhibit is free and open to the public.
