Thursday-October 26

6:30 p.m. – Class of ’57 Reunion Dinner– Chowning Executive Dining Room
We welcome back the Class of 1957 to celebrate your 60th class year reunion!
There will be a dinner held in your honor in the Chowning Executive Dining Room in
Winters Dining Hall. All classes 1957 and prior are invited to attend! Call the Office of
Development at (270) 789-5211 to RSVP!

Friday-October 27

11 a.m. Class of ’67 Reunion and Luncheon – Banquet Hall
The Class of 1967 members will have a reunion starting at 11 a.m. This will be a time of
fellowship and reconnecting with classmates! At noon, a lunch will be served by Pioneer
College Catering Inc. All Golden Heritage Club members, those who graduated 1957 and
earlier, are invited to attend. Call the Office of Development to purchase tickets at $15
each! There will be no charge for the Class of ’67 in honor of your 50th class year reunion!

2 p.m. Class of ’67 Golden Heritage Induction Ceremony– The Gheens Recital Hall
The Class of ’67 will be inducted into the Golden Heritage Club in honor of its 50th year
class reunion. All Golden Heritage Club members are invited to attend. The induction
ceremony will be held in The Gheens Recital Hall.

3 p.m. – 6 p.m. 5th Anniversary Celebration of the Chowning Art Shop – Turner Log Cabin
Chowning Art Shop artists exhibit their most recent artwork in this group exhibition. Join
us for the reception as we celebrate the Chowning Art Shop’s 5th year!

5:30 p.m. Men’s and Women’s Swimming vs. Asbury– Powell Athletic Center
Help support Tiger and Lady Tiger swimming as both teams host Asbury University
starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Powell Athletic Center.

6 p.m. Homecoming Reception – Banquet Hall
The Homecoming Reception will be at 6 p.m. in the Banquet Hall of the Badgett
Academic Support Center (formerly the Student Union Building). Ticket price is $20 and
includes admission to the University Theater’s production of “The Drowsy Chaperone.”

9 p.m. Maroon Goons Pep Rally
The Maroon Goons encourage everyone to come cheer for the Tigers at the Pep Rally!
Wear your maroon and gray to show our athletes we support them! The pep rally will be
held behind the Student Activities Center.

Saturday-October 28

12 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. Maroon and Gray Give Day!
Be sure to take part in the first Give Day to be held at Campbellsville University! This is
the opportunity we have as alumni, students, and friends to make our voices heard and
our Tiger Pride show! Every gift given from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. will be counted toward
the goal! Any amount will work, it’s the number of gifts that’s important. Check out the
university website for more details.

7:30 a.m. 1st Annual Alum Mile
Attention all runners and walkers, get registered now for the first ever Alum Mile! This
event is a 1 mile run/walk around the beautiful campus of CU. Registration begins at
7:30 a.m. at the Ronnie and Laura Hord Athletic Indoor Facility. Race will begin at 8:30
a.m. with refreshments and awards following. Entry fee will be by donation only.

8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Market Off Main
Market off Main is a community event located one block off Main Street in downtown
Campbellsville. Local vendors will be set up with everything from art to homegrown
produce! Come early to browse the Market off Main and stay for the Homecoming
Parade at 11 a.m.!

8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Buffet Breakfast – Winters Dining Hall
Come enjoy good home cooking at the Winters Dining Hall! Pioneer College Caterers
Inc. will have a buffet breakfast available for $6. Enjoy spending time with current CU
students and classmates as you eat a delicious breakfast!

9 a.m. – History of Campbellsville University and City of Campbellsville Exhibit – Student Activity Center
Take a walk through time as artifacts are on display from the CU archives! See CU has changed through the last 111 years yet holds true to her mission! Also, the Bicentennial Committee will have historical artifacts and information on the 200 years of the City of Campbellsville. Be sure to stop by as Campbellsville University and the City of Campbellsville come together to celebrate a combined 311 years of heritage.

9 a.m. Homecoming Car Cruise
Come see cars from all years at the annual Homecoming Car Cruise. See back panel of
brochure for more information!

10 a.m. Alumni Registration – Stapp Lawn
Be sure to stop by the Alumni Tent on Stapp Lawn and let us know you’re here!
Everyone who registers will be entered into a drawing for door prizes! Door prizes will be
drawn throughout the day! Campbellsville University welcomes you home!

10 a.m. Honoring the Past: Alumni Group Exhibition- Pence Chowning Art Gallery
Alumni artists come together in the first homecoming group exhibition to “Honor the
Past”. Stop in to visit with the artist and see their amazing work!

10 a.m. Preparing for the Future: Art & Design Students Exhibition -Susan Kirkland Tesseneer Art Studio
A pop-up exhibition for current Art & Design students as they “Prepare for their Future”.
What better way to celebrate Homecoming than spending time with our current Tigers!
Drop by to visit with students and see their art work first hand!

10 a.m. Art Sale – Chowning Art Shop
Artwork from Alumni, Faculty, Staff and students is available for purchase with proceeds
supporting the Art & Design Department. Various media are represented including
printmaking, watercolor, ceramics, woodwork, fiber arts and more.

10 a.m. Alumni 3pt Challenge – Powell Athletic Center
Calling all Tiger and Lady Tiger Basketball alumni! Do you ever dream of just one more
chance to step on the court as a Tiger? Join in the fun with this brand new event! Come
show everyone you still have it. CU Coaches and players will head up this challenge. Not
a CU Tiger Basketball alum but still have skills? This event is open to anyone, come out
and compete against the best.

10:30 a.m. – noon – Book Signing with Dr. John Mark Carter
Drop by the Davenport Student Commons to visit with Dr. John Mark Carter. Dr. Carter
will be signing copies of his new book, “The Parsons’ Sons” and telling stories of his many years at Campbellsville Cllege and Campbellsville University.

10:30 a.m. Homecoming Festival
The Homecoming Festival will have new and exciting attractions this year along with
crowd favorites! The climbing wall will be back for those wanting to test their skills as
they scale the wall! New this year will be a petting zoo, and Archery Tag! This activity
is sure to be a hit and new favorite! Plus, you just never know when you’ll see a Tiger
walking around campus!

11 a.m. Homecoming Parade – Main Street
CU welcomes Dr. Ken Winters, Dr. W. R. Davenport, Dr. Michael V. Carter and First
Ladies as Grand Marshalls for this year’s parade! Also, Cars of the Centuries will take
part in the parade to pay homage to the importance of transportation, and celebrate
Campbellsville’s Bicentennial! Be sure to find a spot along the parade route and cheer
for your alma mater as the Tiger Marching Band, club floats and classic cars cruise
by! The parade will start on Main Street in downtown Campbellsville, turn right onto
Columbia Avenue and then turn left onto University Drive.

11:30 a.m. Lunch on the Lawn – Stapp Lawn
Visit one of our vendors on Stapp Lawn for a great meal in a wonderful atmosphere.
Set under the tents as you enjoy lunch with friends, family, classmates, and current
students. Make plans now to meet up at Lunch on the Lawn. There’s sure to be
something for everyone.

12 p.m. Music by Steel Appeal – Chowning Patio by Books n Beans
While enjoying lunch on Stapp Lawn, enjoy the smooth sounds of Steel Appeal.
Guaranteed to be something rarely seen in Kentucky, stop by the Chowning Patio and
experience the steel drum rhythms in the heart of Campbellsville University!

2:01 p.m. – Fighting Tiger Football vs. Georgetown – Finley Stadium
The Fighting Tigers and Georgetown are kicking off on Finley Standard Time for the Homecoming football game. Also, the 2017 Homecoming Queen will be crowned at halftime. This is an event you do not want to miss!

8 p.m. – Men’s Soccer vs. Oakland City University – Finley Stadium
The Tigers are hosting Senior Night at Finley Stadium as Oakland City University comes into Tiger Town.
Help support the Tigers and send the senior class out on the right note!
