Campbellsville University Jazz Orchestra to perform in Ransdell Chapel Nov. 13

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University Jazz Orchestra will be performing during the university’s chapel service, on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Campbellsville University’s Ransdell Chapel located at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, at 10 a.m.

This semester, Campbellsville University Jazz Orchestra will be performing some well-known tunes like “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore” and “It Don’t Mean a Thing if It Ain’t Got That Swing” in some new style. The show will also feature the voice of soul music Otis Redding’s classic, “Hard to Handle.”

Campbellsville University Jazz Orchestra is a group that is completed with sections of rhythm and instrumentations including saxes, trombones, and trumpets.

If you happen to miss the concert, Campbellsville University Jazz Orchestra will be performing one more time this semester on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in The Gheens Recital Hall in Gosser Fine Arts Center, 210 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky.

Both concerts are free and open to the public.

Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations.

All chapels are open to the public free of charge and are televised live on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10 and digital channel 15.0) and are streamed live on the internet at wlcutv.com.
