CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Dr. Chris Bullock, assistant professor of mathematics at Campbellsville University, has been promoted to associate professor of mathematics, according to Dr. Michael V. Carter, president.
Bullock, who has been employed at CU since 2002, received his bachelor of arts from the University of Kentucky in 1996 and his master’s degree in mathematics from UK in 1998. His doctorate in mathematics is also from UK where he graduated in 2002.
Bullock was a teaching assistant at UK from 1997 to 2002.
He graduated from Pulaski County High School in 1992 and also attended Somerset Community College. Bullock is the son of Edward and Earlene Bullock of Somerset.
Bullock has been a member of the American Mathematical Society since 1996. He served on the Graduate Student Council of the mathematics department at UK from 1996 to 1997.
At CU, Bullock has served as Sigma Zeta sponsor and Honors Council member. He has presented professional papers at New Orleans and Lexington.
