CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Campbellsville University Concert Band will be performing its annual winter concert Tuesday, March 10 at 8 p.m. in Ransdell Chapel.
Joining the CU Concert Band as special guests for this program will be the Taylor County High School Concert Band. Conductor of the Taylor County High School Concert Band is Stephen Bishop, a 2004 graduate of Campbellsville University.
Taylor County will be featuring their KMEA Festival Selections during their portion of the program.
The CU Concert Band will conclude the concert with some classic literature by “well-known wind band composers as well as some contemporary composers of this genre,” said Jennifer Tinnell, director of bands and instructor of music.
“We hope you will be able to join us for this night of beautiful music,” Dr. Scott Bersaglia, assistant director of bands and assistant professor of music, said.
“You won’t want to miss hearing these talented young musicians from our community,” Bersaglia said.
Also directing the CU band will be Nell Chaudoin, a CU graduate student in music.
