CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The public is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house at Campbellsville University’s new location of its Louisville Campus on Tuesday, August 14, at noon.

CU-Louisville is designed for the non-traditional student, helping single parents, bi-vocational individuals and busy professionals fulfill their calling in a Christ-centered accelerated degree program for the working adult.

“Our Christian mission is one of the key elements that sets us apart from other programs,” says CU president Michael V. Carter. The university seeks to prepare students to enrich their own lives through lifelong learning, to contribute to their respective disciplines through continued scholarship, and to improve society as Christian servant leaders.

The August 14th special event marks a key achievement in a journey that began in 1994 when the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary invited Campbellsville University to create a degree completion program on their campus. From that point the University has grown the extension into Campbellsville University Louisville Campus, or CU-Louisville.

The new CU Louisville Campus covers 14,000 square feet of needed space for growth and development which is evolving as a result of the new Master of Science in Counseling and Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.

Along with the new programs, CU-Louisville offers degrees in Business Administration, Organization management, Pastoral Ministries and a Master of Theology. The CU Louisville Technology Training Center is a Certificated Microsoft IT Academy and an authorized Certiport Testing Center.

The CU-Louisville campus is conveniently located at 2300 Green Way in Louisville, two blocks south of Taylorsville Road, off Hurstbourne.
