CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.—Immanuel Baptist Church’s Hallelujah Singers, of Lexington, Ky., will be performing at Campbellsville University’s chapel Wednesday, March 25, at 10 a.m. in Ransdell Chapel.
The Hallelujah singers perform a variety of styles including hymn arrangements, standard anthems, gospel music, spirituals, contemporary anthems and patriotic music.
The average age of the singers is 70 years old.
The Hallelujah Singers have performed as the featured choir at the Bowing Green State Music Festival; a conference at Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; and a conference at Ridgecrest, N.C.
The group has also performed at seven state music festivals, 24 area churches, three colleges and two prisons. They’ve also sung the National Anthem four times at the Lexington Legends ball games, two shopping malls, ten funerals and a fifth anniversary concert with 850 in attendance.
They have sung on live TV several times and have performed at a number of retirement homes and at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center.
They are celebrating their tenth anniversary by performing in special concerts and other programs and events, including a fall choir tour in Alabama and Tennessee.
They also performed at the 2008 Kentucky Baptist State Convention.

Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations.
