Dialogue on Public Issues Features Candidates for State Representative

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University’s TV-4, WLCU, is featuring interviews with the candidates for state representative in the 51st district, beginning Sunday, April 13.

John Chowning, host of TV-4’s “Dialogue on Public Issues” program, has interviewed the three Republican candidates for the seat now occupied by Russ Mobley, who has sought to not seek re-election. Chowning has also interviewed Doug Mullins, the Democratic Party nominee for the fall general election.

Chowning said, “Dialogue on Public Issues is a program that seeks to provide information on current topics to our viewers. We wanted to let the public know how the candidates felt on the issues and thought this would be a great way to do that.

“We hope you will watch the program in order to become familiar with the issues and the candidates’ stances on those issues.”

The Republican candidates interviewed are Russell Montgomery, Bamm Carney and Asa Swan with Doug Mullins the Democratic candidate

The half-hour programs will be broadcast on TV-4, Comcast Cable Channel 10) as follows:

Guest Russell Montgomery – Sunday, April 13, 8 a.m.; Monday, April 14, 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, April 16, 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.;

Guest Bamm Carney – Sunday, April 20, 8 a.m.; Monday, April 21, 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, April 23, 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Guest Asa Swan – Sunday, April 27, 8 a.m.; Monday, April 28, 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, April 30, 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Guest Doug Mullins – Sunday, May 4, 8 a.m.; Monday, May 5, 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, May 7, 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
