Full Job Description:
We are seeking two licensed mental health therapists to work in a rural but growing private practice. The counselor will see adults in a laid back atmosphere. We are seeking motivated therapists who are of high character to join us.
Compensation:
- Independent Contractor Compensation: * $45.00 -$55.00 per hour based on licensure and experience. A $2000 sign-on bonus is available (four payments of $500.)
- Healthcare insurance is available.
- Continuing education reimbursement.
- Office furnishings are provided.
Responsibilities:
- Establish therapeutic rapport with individuals with mental, emotional, and or substance abuse issues
- Communicate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate best practice care for our clients
- Provide evidence-based therapy
- Develop and review treatment plans
- Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
- Ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with Insurance company requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields preferred
- A master’s degree and appropriate license (or pre-license) to practice mental health therapy (LPC, CSW, MFT, etc.) is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to navigate and utilize computer software with training
- Be able to work in a team environment
