Job Description:

The Coordinator of Career Development will work with the Director of Career Development and the ICD team to manage the planning, logistics and implementation of all career development events, including networking events and career fairs, employer visits, workshops, and special events. The Coordinator will serve as lead designer to implement the marketing plan for Career Development events including printed materials, email announcements, social media, and academic calendar postings; work with the Handshake database and enhance the employer database and graduate school connections. The Coordinator will support domestic and international students on all career readiness matters by conducting individual appointments for resume reviews, cover letters, applications, and interview coaching. Partner with the Director of Career Development to train and supervise the peer advisors on utilizing career resources, conducting peer resume reviews and mock interviews. Assist Director with career development plan of assessment. Support Director of Career Development with administration of funding resources for all current students.

 

Qualifications:  Master’s Degree Preferred, 2-4+ years of experience in related work environment; student services/career services experience preferred
