Data and Reporting Professional 2, Humana, Louisville, KY (office or WAH) posted 5/2020
Two openings on this specific team at Humana– a small, but important and growing segment of Humana’s medical/dental/vision/wellness and other related insurance products and businesses. This department includes about 25 people in Sales Operations and my team within that department is growing to 11 this summer. We all report to an associate director– great to work with, and – four associates focus on Salesforce Sales Cloud development/testing/implementation, two primarily responsible for regular/ad-hoc reporting for segment/sales/market leadership, one SQL database administrator, and two of us building a new sales analytics and performance management team.
This position (Data and Reporting Professional 2) is entry-level, with at least some full-time/part-time/internship experience in a similar role highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge/experience with SQL Server (including SSMS/SSRS), Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce (especially Sales Cloud), Microsoft Dynamics and/or similar tools will strengthen one’s application. There is also a second position (KY Senior-Sales Informaticist) requires significant quantitative, analytical and technical skills — preferably 5+ years of experience in a large corporate environment, in the health care/insurance industry and/or in data analytics, business intelligence, predictive modeling, machine learning, AI, etc. This position is similar to my current role and will work closely with me and another very experienced colleague, our associate director, a guiding team for our segment’s sales strategy/analytics efforts and a supporting team in the enterprise Digital Health and Analytics team. Both positions will be work-at-home at least through Labor Day, perhaps longer and/or on a permanent basis depending on Humana’s emerging return-to-office plans. My experience joining the team last fall was very positive and quick – about 4-5 weeks from initial application to offer with a start date two weeks later. I assume the process for these open positions will be very similar, so interested students, recent graduates and experienced alumni should act quickly!
