The position will provide a ground floor level start with a fast growing company working with with top-level management. Production Tech I: Responsible for operation of studio cameras for the newscasts and various shows and promotion production. Additional Responsibilities include set lighting, teleprompter operation, tape machine operation for promos and commercials, and cross-training in Chyron and the audio board. This person must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to climb ladders, build, paint, and erect television production sets. This is a news “one-man-band” position that requires the applicant to enterprise stories shoot, write, edit, and present those stories both live and pre-record. All applicants must have a minimum of one-year of employment at a broadcast television or cable station is required. Candidate must have the technical and mechanical abilities associated with use of digital video camera / recorders, Edius non-linear editors, and Dejero live units.
