Digital Account Executive: WTVQ ABC 36/ChartLocal Digital Agency a full-service Broadcast TV and Digital Agency is searching for an experienced Senior Digital Account Executive for the Lexington, KY market.

Job Summary: You are a spirited, self-driven individual who will initiate advertising sales. By creating successful campaigns for clients in partnership with your digital operations team, the Digital Account Executive ensures growth within the business and retains clients for future campaigns. You will play an important role in by meeting quick deadlines, keeping a full pipeline, managing sales activity, and communicating regularly with upper management.

Responsibilities: Identify new business opportunities, aggressively pursue them and close new sales. Provide strategic advice and help small to mid-size businesses get the best ROI on their advertising investment by working closely with them in a consultative role. Gain an extensive knowledge of our capabilities, specifically within our digital and broadcast marketing platforms. Requirements: 2+ years of advertising sales, or B2B sales w/ small to medium sized businesses required. Passion for all things digital. Possess a Hunter’s mentality. Strong relationship building interpersonal skills. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals strong network and reputation is highly preferred. Excellent listening, presentation, and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms

The DSM will cultivate new business, grow existing business and work as a team leader with seasoned marketing Account Executives who attain results for their clients by recommending solutions that combine traditional and digital media. The candidate will have full access to a suite of ‘ChartLocal Digital Marketing Services’ as well as “Television Station Digital Assets” in order to achieve the stations digital revenue goals.

The candidate must be willing to take ownership of the TV Station’s Digital budget. This means a dedicated effort to generate business on his/her own, as well as a dedicated focus on working with the sales team to help them close more digital business. The expectation will be to “lead with digital” by identifying “digital pain points” for prospects and offering solution-based marketing to help the prospects improve his or her business. The ideal candidate will also have experience securing relationships with franchise organizations and multi-location businesses. The DSM must have strong digital knowledge but be able to utilize it strategically to advance the sales and marketing partnership.

During the interview process, we will be evaluating quantifiable evidence of sales success as well as examples demonstrating digital marketing knowledge. Knowing the many digital marketing products and how they work together to create a strategy is paramount to the candidate’s success.
