Digital News Specialist (PT), Forcht Broadcasting-Campbellsville, KY

Forcht Broadcasting, Kentucky’s largest small market radio group, is actively seeking a Part Time Digital News Specialist for its Campbellsville/Greensburg, Kentucky radio market.

Station formats are: WCKQ 104.1 FM Hot AC, WGRK 105.7 FM Mainstream Country, WTCO 1450 AM/106.7FM Mainstream Rock

Position Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

1.) Understand broadcast radio and digital news gathering and reporting concepts

2.) Have knowledge of various digital platforms used in the radio industry

3.) Assist in the development of strategic plans for successful use of existing multi-media platforms

4.) Engage in professional development opportunities

6.) Help maintain all Forcht Broadcasting social media accounts

7.) Update and maintain Community News section of website for market

8.) Develop, write and produce Community Events/Activities Blog and Calendar/Forecast

9.) Develop, write and produce Sports Blog and Scores Graphics

10.) Work with Social Media Manager to ensure proper coverage and dissemination of  information within position responsibility

Candidate MUST possess the following:

5.) Develop ideas and think creatively

Compensation will reflect sales and work experience. This is a part-time position and does not include benefits.
