Healthy at Schools Coordinator (FT), Taylor County Schools, Campbellsville KY

Taylor County School District in Campbellsville, KY is seeking a Full-time Coordinator.

The Healthy at School Specialist will oversee the implementation and management of the Healthy at School and Work District Plans for the Taylor County School District. The Healthy at School Specialist will report directly to the Director of Schools and will work closely with the Director of Human Resource.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Healthy at School Specialist will be charged by the Superintendent to perform the following duties to effectively implement and manage the

  • Monitor compliance to the Healthy at Work and Healthy at School guidelines and provide frequent updates to the Director of Schools, HR Director, and Principals
  • Stay up to date with the latest Covid-19 guidance and work with Director of Schools to review and update district plans and procedures
  • Oversee and monitor the contact tracing efforts for students and staff
  • Assist Director of Human Resources in collecting and monitoring daily health assessments of staff
  • Serve as a district liaison with local health officials including Lake Cumberland District Health Department, Taylor Regional Hospital, and local physicians and health officials
  • Serve as a point of contact for any positive cases for Covid-19 among students and staff – will lead the contact tracing follow up with health department for district in partnership with principals and teachers
  • Monitor that contact tracing manifests are being maintained by schools, classrooms, athletics/activities, and transportation
  • Assist the Director of Schools in the maintaining and ordering of PPE for the district
  • Monitor the return to school of students and staff who have tested positive for Covid-19 or have been quarantined because of a close contact
  • Identify potential risks and work with district and school administration to address actions to reduce risks
  • Prepare and file required documents related to Covid-19 and other health and safety related issues
  • Educate staff and students on proper implementation of Healthy at Work and School guidance

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful Healthy at School Specialist candidate will have the following skills, education, and experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a human resource or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience with handling confidential matters with discretion
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and solve problems in an efficient and timely manner
  • Experience in managing or leading special projects
