History classes offer a chance to improve many academic skills, including reading, writing, and analytic thinking. Most importantly, history teachers help students better understand the world in which they live. If you are a history buff who feels passionate about passing on your knowledge and opening students’ eyes to the importance of history, you’re a teacher!
At Red Bird, history teachers enjoy small class sizes conducive for differentiated instruction, allowing you to give students the individual attention they deserve. Course Details: Year A: US History and Government/Civics; Year B: Geography and World Civilizations–each year offering General and College Prep sections and collaborating with English department for cross curricular focus in reading, writing, speaking, listening and
problem-solving.
