WAVE 3 News is the NBC affiliate for Gray Television in Louisville, KY. We are Kentucky’s first television station, and we lead the way in connecting the people of WAVE Country. WAVE 3 News offers nearly 60 hours of local television news per week, 40 hours of live programming in the field throughout the week of the Kentucky Derby, and coverage on digital, social, and OTT channels throughout the day.

We provide advertising and marketing research and consultation services to local and regional advertisers as well as digital marketing campaign execution and optimizations across Connected TV, Social Media and display and video-based placements, as well as email marketing and content creation.

Job Summary/Description:

The ideal applicant must be detail-oriented, very organized, and able to prioritize and calmly multi-task. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a quick learner, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Excellent data entry skills are essential. Candidate will potentially assist with one on one client relations, creating sales presentations and any other necessary tasks that are relevant to meeting team goals. Must be able to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, team environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Previous Broadcast television sales support, national rep firm or agency Sales Assistant experience is ideal. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office functions.
