Position Description:
Beechland Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Minister of Children. This person will be responsible for
developing, coordinating, and administering all aspects of a comprehensive program of Christian
education for children from birth through 5th grade, with an emphasis on total family ministry.
Requirements:
Education and/or experience in early childhood development or education
Experience with preschoolers or children in a church environment
Administrative experience in a church staff position, including supervision
Experience in recruiting and developing volunteer leaders
Experience in scheduling, curriculum selection, teaching and relationship development
Seminary degree a plus but not required
