Presbyterian Church USA Leadership Positions, Various Levels, Louisville KY or Remote

Mission Engagement Advisor (Mission Engagement & Support, Louisville, KY) Lead the effort in mission engagement and support in a specific geographic area of the U.S. Directly solicit support for the ministries of the Presbyterian Mission Agency, Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. This includes World Mission, Compassion, Peace and Justice ministries, Racial Equity and Women Intercultural Ministries, and Theology, Formation and Evangelism and any other ministries or programs as assigned.

Communications Associate (Communications, Louisville, KY) Supports the mission communications’ efforts to create and deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality communications. The position must employ various communications methods to inform, motivate and align the public as well as employees around the work of the Presbyterian Mission Agency. This includes written, digital and social mediums. This position will build strong working relationships within the ministry area to achieve communication objectives; manage multiple projects at the same time.

Associate for Gender, Racial & Intercultural Justice (Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministry, Louisville KY) This position is responsible for developing and implementing programs and ministries at all levels of the church, in collaboration with the Coordinator for Gender, Racial & Intercultural Justice in Compassion, Peace & Justice Ministries and the Director of Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministries, that implement the PC(U.S.A.)’s policies of becoming an inclusive, diverse, and racially just church. Develop workshops and forums addressing issues of racial justice and gender equity. Lead antiracism training sessions and write brief theological papers and reports for General Assembly and Presbyterian Mission Agency Board meetings, as requested, that educate and lead the church towards becoming a gender and racially just church. The person selected to fill this position can be based at the national offices in Louisville, KY or work from a remote location.

Mission Specialist for Christian Formation (Theology, Formation & Evangelism, Louisville, KY) Provide administrative support to help coordinate the ministry work for the area of Christian formation.

Project Manager for Digital Fundraising and Interpretation (Special Offerings Management (MES), Louisville, KY) Manages tasks related to all phases of preparation, budgeting and production of digital promotional and campaign resources related to fundraising activities of the Office of Special Offerings and Appeals within the Presbyterian Mission Agency. Nurtures collaborative relationships with constituents, mid councils, and other PC(USA) entities to further understanding of churchwide Special Offerings, the Presbyterian Giving Catalog, and other initiatives to support Presbyterian Mission. This is a regular full-time position.

Project Manager for Interpretation and Fundraising for World Mission and Shared Mission (One Year Term Contract) (Mission Engagement (MES), Louisville, KY) Manages tasks related to all phases of preparation and production of multi-channel communication and record-keeping between and among MES and Mission Co-workers, Mission Networks, Senior Director, Mission Engagement Advisors and World Mission Leadership Table. Support Senior Director in work with mission co-workers and mission networks and follow up to events. Maintain schedule of Mission Network meetings, informing/assigning MEAs to speak at Mission Network gatherings.

Mission Engagement Associate (Manager, Direct Mail) (Mission Engagement and Support, Louisville, KY) Manage comprehensive direct mail program for Presbyterian Mission Agency and work closely with Project Manager for catalog and individual donation.

Director, Center for Repair of Historical Harms (Executive Director’s Office, KY) To enact the ministry of Jesus Christ by building and developing the Center for Repair of Historical Harms of the PC(USA) in collaboration with our sister national agencies, mid-councils and congregations (hereafter referred to as The Center for Repair). Through the Center for the Repair, the Presbyterian Mission Agency hopes to initiate a denomination-wide effort to inspire repair and reconciliation both within and beyond the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

Administrative Specialist for Special Offerings (Mission Engagement and Support, Louisville, KY) Provide the administrative and organizational support necessary for the Project Managers of the Special Offerings and Giving Catalog team to broaden the platforms, content, and approaches leading to greater participation and dollars for Matthew 25 ministry. Share in the development of new models of fundraising and engagement which foster vital congregations engaged in systemic work to dismantle white supremacy and eradicate poverty.

Executive Director for Stony Point Center (Stony Point Center, Stony Point, NY) Oversee all aspects of Stony Point Center and manage its efficient integration with the Presbyterian Mission Agency and the Administrative Services Group of the PC(USA) A Corp. The position requires living on-site in Stony Point Center in Stony Point, New York.
