Job Description

The 21st Century Learning Site Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the program department, which includes planning, organizing, developing, implementing, staffing, controlling & evaluating the programs in accordance with the purpose & philosophies of the branch and YMCA of Greater Cincinnati. The incumbent is responsible for providing Association leadership & support services for all school-age care programs, enrichment, summer camp & services for branch operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Development & implementation of comprehensive School Age Child Care & Day Camp programs, including curriculum components to ensure high quality programs through program development.
•Provide Association leadership for child care staff development, certification & training.
•Share in the development & implementation of all child care employee recruitment & employment screenings needs of the Association.
•Ensure proper training to keep staff informed of all state and/or Association requirements, ensuring that program content is current & meets the needs of all participants.
•Develop & administer annual program department budget.
•Ensure Association child care quality standards are in compliance with operations, licensing or other governing agencies.
•Responsible for administration of all programs related to child care; overall program growth, retention & evaluation; innovative program efforts.
•Execute marketing plans in identified areas according to Association-wide procedures.
•Execute program planning efforts, including statistical tracking & analysis of current programs.
•Develop & implement an Association relationship/recognition program for schools.
•Remain knowledgeable of all federal, state, local & YMCA regulations related to program areas.
•Assist with membership & building tours as needed. Interpret membership policy & procedures to prospective members. Serve as building supervisor as assigned.
•Provide leadership & support for branch and departmental fundraising for annual campaign.

Qualifications
•Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Recreation or related field with proven experience in child care programs.
•One (1) or more years experience in supervision & coordination of family involvement programs.
•Must meet all licensing requirements under federal, state & local regulations.
•Must possess current CPR, First Aid, Oxygen & AED certifications.
•Must have an excellent understand of YMCA, federal, state & local program requirements.
•Must have excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills in order to maintain harmonious relationships with staff, volunteers, program participants & the general public.
•Must be able to multitask, and be a creative, motivated self-starter with the ability to lead & motivate others.

Salary
