Do you enjoy serving others? Apply for a summer position at AdventureServe Ministries! AdventureServe Ministries is a Christian non-profit organization located in Wilmore KY that guides service and adventure trips for groups in Appalachia. At AdventureServe we are looking for trip leaders who love God and others; enjoy being outside; enjoy working with youth; have a can-do attitude; are ready for the most challenging and awesome summer of their lives! All trip leaders will be trained to lead rock climbing, rappelling, caving, and canoeing during three and a half weeks of training at the beginning of the summer. Right now we have positions open in our Home Repair, Mystery, and Wilderness Programs. For more information check out the website. www.adventureserve.org/summer-positions/ AdventureServe is also looking for two uniquely qualified individuals to serve on our summer management team. Our Wilderness Manager will be responsible to oversee our wilderness program; assist with training summer staff; lead trips; support and lead wilderness activities like rock climbing, rappelling, caving, and canoeing. Candidates should have a strong wilderness and outdoor background, be self-motivated, and have strong leadership skills. Our Warehouse Manager will be responsible for our warehouse of camping gear. They will train trip leaders on warehouse procedure; order and oversee the packing of group food; direct pre and post trip pack-ins and pack-outs. Candidates should be highly organized, self-motivated and comfortable working in a vital yet behind the scenes role. Application deadline for all positions is March 15th.
