We are looking to hire at least two Tax Interns and one Admin Intern for our E-town location, and one to two for our Bardstown location (both Tax and Admin). These are paid positions at $15 per hour.

Internship Program Stiles, Carter & Associates, P.S.C. (SCA), is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants. Since 1975, our firm has been providing timely, quality services with the highest degree of professionalism. Our expertise is in financial accounting and auditing, tax and other specialty services. SCA offers paid, full-time and part-time (minimum of 30 hours per week) internships during busy season—January through April. The internship program is designed to give college students an opportunity to enhance their formal education with hands-on, career-related experience. As an intern, you will have many of the same responsibilities as a full-time, first-year staff accountant working with SCA professionals and partners on a variety of client projects. Our interns are also often offered fulltime employment after graduation. Our interns often perform the following work: • Working with our tax software to prepare individual income tax returns for review • Preparing payroll tax filings, 1099s and other informational filings • Preparing county property tax reports • Preparing quarterly estimates and filing extensions In addition, you will be paired with a mentor to assist you with career growth and development. An internship with SCA will give you the experience you need to hit the ground running when you begin your career.
Requirements To be considered, you must meet the following requirements: • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • Minimum GPA: 3.0 • Coursework: Successfully completed intermediate accounting courses with a minimum of a “B” average. One tax course is preferred, but not required, for the busy season internship.
