Lead Teacher
Location: Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison and Nicholas Counties
Responsibilities: The overall development and implementation of the education program in the classroom to keep the classroom compliant with state licensing requirements, Head Start Performance Standards and NAEYC.
Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (ECE) or related field plus 10 college courses in ECE. Experience in ECE classroom management, planning curriculum and record keeping is required. Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desired.
Salary: AA degree $14.36 – %15.80 hourly, BA degree $15.85 – $17.43 hourly
Assistant Teacher
Location: Lexington-Fayette. Bourbon, Harris and Nicholas Counties
Responsibilities: Assisting with the implementation of the education program in child development centers for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years old.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Experience working with children. An Associate’s degree in early childhood education is preferred
Salary: $11.71 – $12.88 hourly
