Job description:
Experienced teller needed at local financial institute to participate in formal training, work under supervision performing transactions such as night deposits, mail deposits, payments and cash drawer. Must have professional demeanor, excellent customer service skills and work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Under close supervision, maintains cash drawer
Disburses cash and processes checks in accordance with policies and procedures.
Receives cash and checks for deposit, post loan payments and pay offs.
Orders money from Cash Vault.
Sells postage stamps and amusement park tickets, etc.
Maintains accurate records of each transaction posted and assure that daily work is in balance. Provides routine account and service information to members following established policies and procedures.
Seeks assistance from Supervisor/Manager for unusual and complex situations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior on the job cash handling experience needed.
Ability to lift workboxes up to approximately 50 lbs. occasionally.
Clean background records
Ability to pass drug testing
