Job Description
Job Title:Hiring Associate
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Type:Full-time
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Hiring Manager
The Hiring Associate’s (HA) primary responsibility is to continually assist with hiring employees for all client contracts in their assigned district. The HA maintains responsibilities for hiring, onboarding, and training new employees in an assigned area. The HA works closely with the Hiring Manager, Regional Manager and/or Chief Scribes in their district to ensure all client contracts are fully staffed and shifts are fully covered.
Essential Functions
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruit, Interview applicants and complete hiring process for new employees
  • Organize and conduct classroom training for new employees
  • Keep up to date with classroom training material and protocols
  • Maintain an up-to-date scribe directory and pipeline
  • Supervise distribution and maintain inventory of ScribeAmerica property
  • Help ensure shifts are fully covered and site is fully staffed
  • Ensure scribe compliance with hospital requirements (background check, fingerprinting, Employee Health, hospital badging, hospital orientation, etc)
  • Ensure employee compliance with ScribeAmerica policies and procedures
  • Communicate with chief scribes of local sites to understand their hiring needs, keep them informed about their new hires’ progressing in training, and to coordinate site-specific credentialing and training
  • Communicate with the facility human resources, IT, and other facility liaisons to coordinate compliance
  • Defer managerial decisions to the Hiring Manager
  • Send weekly and monthly metric updates to their region

Required Education And Experience

  • This position requires a high school diploma or the equivalent
  • Demonstrate compliance with all facility, department, company policies and procedures

  • Possess strong computer skills
  • Possess excellent organizational/project management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Possess the ability to successfully manage and motivate people
  • Demonstrate strong innovation and problem solving skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the intricacies of provider documentation
  • Thorough understanding of medical facility workflow, efficiency management, and nuances of medical documentation.
  • Successfully completed a high quality implementation of ScribeAmerica™ client contract.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and hours of work and days vary Monday through Sunday depending on the facility contract and scribe hours needed.
Travel
Frequent travel between facilities is expected in this role. Travel will be determined by the needs of the company.
