Flight Finance PT Coop *Cost statement analysis: review individual accounts to identify drivers that will forecast expense, review variances and assist with explanations, work with Flight Finance Team to ensure journal entries are completed. Miscellaneous cost accounting – cost initiatives. Quarterly planning support: work with planning groups to develop budget, develop cost planning templates and improve planning process. Ad hoc special projects and process improvements.
*Minimum two years toward a degree in either Finance or Accounting preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are expected. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects is a must.
F&A Co-Op *Business casual office environment located at the Air Group Building. Evenings and weekends possible during monthly accounting closing process. The position may have contact with all levels of management.
*The Intern will be assigned job responsibilities that will vary depending on Payables and General Ledger department needs including assisting with payment processing, customer contact, journals, reconciliations, closing, research and follow up with various levels of management.
