Campbellsville University employs Adams as new business professor

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Dr. William “Bill” Adams of Lebanon, Ky., has been hired at Campbellsville University as an assistant professor of business, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University.

Adams has served at CU since 2007 as an adjunct instructor.

Adams will be teaching primarily for the graduate business online Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership programs and the on-campus MBA program.

Adams is a 1995 graduate of Marion County High School in 1995. He is also an alumnus of Campbellsville University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2000 and a Master of Business Administration in 2005.

In 2010, Adams received his doctorate from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minn. His dissertation was titled “Transformational Leadership in the United Methodist Church: An Empirical Investigation of Selected Churches Experiencing Growth and Decline in the Elizabethtown, Ky., District.”

In addition teaching at Campbellsville University, Adams has also been a business and management professor of online classes at Indiana Wesleyan University in Lexington, Ky., and at Ashford University Online based in Clinton, Iowa. He has taught part time at Sullivan University in Lexington and at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College in Elizabethtown, Ky.

Adams has also served as production manager at Summit Polymers, Inc. in Elizabethtown, Ky.; materials manager for Curtis-Maruyasu America Inc. in Lebanon, Ky.; production manager for Wilbert Plastic Services in Lebanon and production control manager for TG Kentucky LLC, also in Lebanon.

He and his wife, Beth Jeffries Adams, have two children, Camden and Avery.
