Campbellsville University to hear opportunities with Army medical department

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University will host SFC Jason Quijas, who will present a seminar on opportunities in the U.S. Army’s Medical Department, at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25 in the Administration Building room 15, at 104 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky.

He will discuss scholarships, school programs and tuition payback programs sponsored by the Army.
The event is free and open to the public. It will run from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Dr. Roscoe Bowen, associate professor of exercise science, said the Army is looking for people with interests in physical therapy, physician’s assistant, MD, DO, social work, environmental science, pharmacy, dental, nursing, dieticians and other allied health areas.

“Come and find out about these programs and what opportunities may be available to you,” he said.
He said there are no obligations for attending but you will discover more about being an officer in the health professions while serving in the U.S. Army.
