CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.— Campbellsville University will host the annual International Education Fair, Wednesday, Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Activities Center, located at 106 University Drive, Campbellsville.

Students may receive chapel credit for attending.

Bill Holmes, director of international education, said, “Many international students will host tables with items from their countries and possibly special dishes to try.”

Laura Cromer, international student advisor, said the fair is a way for people to “get to know a little more about our international students’ cultures and experience their food and music.”

International students will have food samples and information on their culture and will wear their traditional clothing.

Student performances, including dance and music, are from noon to 1 p.m.

The fair is also a chance to learn about studying abroad.

Cromer said, “This is a great opportunity to learn more about studying abroad and serving learning opportunities.”

Tables will be set up with information about studying abroad and the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) program.

Representatives from various study abroad companies will be available to speak to students about the different countries’ programs and scholarships available for studying abroad. CU faculty who have taught abroad will also speak about their programs.

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with over 3,000 students offering 63 undergraduate programs, 17 master’s degrees and five postgraduate areas. The website for complete information is campbellsville.edu.
