CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University has reached a milestone 23rd consecutive semester of record enrollment for fall 2011 with a total enrollment of 3,607 students, according to Dr. Michael V. Carter, president.

The total enrollment, which is up from 3,431 in fall 2010, includes 535 graduate and 3,072 undergraduate students.

Carter, who is in his 13th year as president, said, “We are very thankful to have a total fall 2011 enrollment of more than 3,600 students. The student population at Campbellsville University is increasingly diverse and includes a record number of more than 300 international students.”

Carter said CU’s fall 2011 numbers are the university’s 23rd semester of record enrollment and “reflect the quality of our more than academic program options at the undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate levels.”

CU’s headcount increased from 3,431 from fall 2010 to 3,607 for fall 2011. Graduate numbers increased from 453 to 535, and total undergraduates increased from 2,978 to 3,072.

Carter said other contributing factors to the increase in total headcount include the variety and quality of athletic and other student programs, new and improved facilities, a very talented faculty with an all-time highest number of 134 full-time faculty members, a dedicated staff and group of coaches, and our strong commitment to CU’s core mission of providing a Christ-centered educational experience for our students.”

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 3,500 students offering 63 undergraduate options, 17 master’s degrees, five postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs. The website for complete information is campbellsville.edu.
