CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY RECEIVES DONATION FROM TERRY FORCHT OWNER OF FORCHT BANKING

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.—Terry Forcht, owner of Forcht Banking, has donated $10,000 to Campbellsville University for athletics and student scholarships.
The money will go to the funding for new field turf for the football field and to the CU’s scholarship fund.
Leroy Bratcher, market president at the Campbellsville Forcht bank, said, “We are glad to support our local university.”

The local Forcht bank donates $5,000 annually to Campbellsville University. They support the scholarship fund and the bank is an athletic corporate sponsor.
Benji Kelly, vice president for development, said, “We are very appreciative of the support we receive from Forcht Banking.”
Forcht founded Forcht Group of Kentucky, an American holding company, which is compromised of 95 separate companies and over 2,100 employees. The group created the banking branch in 1985 with $1.5 million in assets.
Forcht was born and raised in Louisville, Ky., where he graduated from Shawnee High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree and juris doctoral degree from the University of Louisville, and he received his master of business administration degree from University of Miami.
His banking career began in 1972 when he was appointed to the director of Corbin Deposit Bank and Trust Company.
This would lead to the creation of Forcht Banking, whose assets now top $1 billion, making it one of the top 10 largest banks based in Kentucky, according to its Web site at www.forchtgroup.com
