CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University summer classes are under way, but there is still time to register for one of the three remaining sessions.

The June term is June 1-25; June/July term is June 1-July 23; and the July term is June 28-July 23.

“Summer classes are a wonderful way to get ahead in your academic career, take classes that are affordable and to take classes to help you progress in your major,” said Dave Walters, vice president for admissions and student services.

“Campbellsville University offers a variety of course offerings during the summer,” Walters said, “and we hope everyone will take advantage of the summer sessions.”

Financial aid is also available for the summer.

Some of the classes offered in the summer include: “Freshman Composition,” “Religion in Life,” “Introduction to Communication,” “American Government,” “General Psychology,” “Marriage and Family” and many others.

General education courses, as well as master classes, are offered.

Walters said students wishing to take advantage of summer classes should first obtain a schedule of classes (which is available on the Web at campbellsville.edu/summer), fill out an application at the Office of Admissions, see an academic advisor and then you are ready to register which can be done online to expedite the process.

Classes are offered for undergraduate students at $285 per credit hour – less than one-half price. Walters said the master’s programs costs are very competitively priced. Call the Office of Admissions for specific program costs. The price of the master’s classes depends on the specific degree being pursued.

A variety of internships are also available, which offers students the opportunity to gain credit hours and valuable experience in businesses and areas related to their major or interest, Walters said.

Summer classes are offered Monday through Friday at various times.
