Campbellsville University’s WLCU TV-4 will air a “Dialogue on Public Issues” show with Dr. Thelma White, president and chief executive officer of Elizabethtown Community & Technical College, left, and host John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president. White and Chowning discussed the history of community colleges in America, the emergency of Elizabethtown Community &Technical College and its growth during White’s 12 years as president, the partnerships of ECTC and CU and how important these are to both institutions, CU and ECTC’s common commitments to educating first generation college students as well as teaching students to be prepared for emerging employment opportunities in the global economy, challenges to higher education in general, etc. The show will be aired: Sunday, June 20 at 8 a.m.; Monday, June 21, at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, June 23, at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. (Campbellsville University Photo by Joan C.
