The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17 in Ransdell Chapel. Dr. David Goatley, executive secretary-treasurer of the Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Mission Convention and former pastor at First Baptist Church in Campbellsville, will be the guest speaker. The chapel is the first day of classes for 2018; 2018 is the 50th anniversary of the death of Dr. King. Everyone is invited to attend. Chapel credit is available for CU students.

Campbellsville University’s 10th Annual Noon Organ Recital Series. The concerts begin at 12:20 p.m. and end at 12:50 p.m., in time for those working to come and go during their lunch hour. The series, which is open to the public, provides organ music from the 1894 Farrand and Votey Organ in Ransdell Chapel which is enlarged to 51 ranks by Moeller, Pilcher and Milnar Organ Companies.
