Campbellsville University’s John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president of CU, right, interviews Dr. Suzan Johnson Cook, United States ambassador at large for international religious freedom, on his “Dialogue on Public Issues” show on Campbellsville University’s WLCU-TV. Johnson Cook was the undergraduate commencement speaker in May at CU. The show will air Sunday, July 22 at 8 a.m.; Monday, July 23 at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, July 24 at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday, July 25 at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; Thursday, July 26 at 8 p.m.; and Friday, July 27 at 8 p.m. The show is aired on Campbellsville’s cable channel 10 and is also aired on WLCU FM 88.7 at 8 a.m. Sunday, July 22. Paula Smith, right, director of alumni relations at Campbellsville University, accepts a $500 check for the university’s Scholarship Fund from Al Hardin, president of the Tri-County Car Club in Campbellsville. Those pursuing an auto-related career remain the club’s first priority, but if there are no applicants, the money will be given to the university to assist area students. There were no applicants this year for the annual scholarship. The Tri-County Car Club represents primarily Taylor, Adair and Green counties, with members from other counties as well.
