Campbellsville University scholars for 2010 include four Presidential Scholars, one Governor’s Scholar Program award and two Governor’s School for the Arts awards.
All of these scholars are receiving full tuition scholarships to Campbellsville University.
Presidential Scholars include: Rachel Hines, the daughter of Kevin and Jamie Hines and a graduate of Casey County High School; Holly Godbey, the daughter of David and Melinda Godbey, Godbey was homeschooled in Pulaski County; Robert Ian Shepard, the son of Omar and Stephanie Meer, and a graduate of Southwestern High School in Pulaski County; and Amaris Vest, the daughter of Joseph and Myriam Vest, and a graduate of Fruitport High School, Mich.
The Governor’s Scholars Program student is Rebecca Cook, the daughter of John and Pam Cook, and a graduate of Lincoln County High School.
Governor’s School for the Arts students include: Blake Herron, the son of Alan and Marsha Herron, and a graduate of Taylor County High School; and Kinly Bertram, the daughter of David and Sharon Bertram, and a graduate of Wayne County High School.
Dave Walters, vice president for admissions and student services, said, “These are exceptional students that perform at the highest academic level. Their academic leadership and commitment impacts our campus in a variety of ways. We are especially proud to know that these fine young men and women will one day be esteemed Campbellsville University alumni.”
