CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. –Campbellsville University School of Nursing received recognition from the Colleges of Distinction for its outstanding academic performance for the 2025-26 Academic year.
Campbellsville University School of Nursing centers on Christian values, offers small class sizes, and produces professional, experienced nurses. The School of Nursing, specifically, is proud of its 100% exam pass rate and supporting students with a smooth transition into practice.
“We’re proud of our class sizes, 100% NCLEX pass rate, and smooth transition from the ADN program into the RN to BSN program and our MSN programs. All barriers have been removed to provide a seamless pathway for your educational journey,” School of Nursing dean Dr. Michele Dickens said. “Being a Christian university, we also emphasize our values and mission. What really sets us apart, though, is our compassion for students, dedication to the community, hands-on learning environment and our amazing faculty.”
In November last year, the School of Nursing began visiting local and surrounding area schools to discuss what the school offers and the different career pathways available. “It was a time for us to share our passion for nursing and sharing with students what the CU School of Nursing has to offer,” shared Dickens.
In addition to the visits, the School of Nursing donated supplies and equipment to help local schools provide more hands-on learning experiences and inspire the next generation of health care professionals. Supplies donated include IVs and mannequin arms.
Students from the Marion County Area Technology Center were also welcomed on campus to visit the School of Nursing building.
Dickens shared the same information given to local students, but she also spoke to them about other opportunities.
“I spoke with them again about the opportunities in the School of Nursing, including how to apply the required prerequisites and qualifications,” said Dickens. “I also talked to them about Beyond the Stethoscope summer immersion, which we will be offering this coming summer, 2026."
Whenever prospective students visit the School of Nursing, faculty and staff emphasize the mission and values, as well as the core values of caring, compassion, and competency, according to Dickens. Not only does she feel many connections were made with students, but she also feels many were made with the faculty and staff working with the students.
Dickens also shared that the School of Nursing is fortunate to have the opportunity to partner with the local and surrounding school systems.
“They’re doing amazing work within their schools, and being able to support that and build on those relationships is important,” she said. “Students can stay in our community, complete their degrees and then give back to the communities they came from. I think it’s crucial, as we look to the future of health care providers, to focus on building these community relationships so that students can return and serve the people and communities that helped shape them.”
