Taylor Regional Hospital (TRH) and Campbellsville University School of Nursing faculty awarded CU nursing student Chloe Price a full-tuition scholarship through the Council on Post-Secondary Education (CPE) Healthcare Workforce Investment Fund grant.

Originally from Marion County, Kentucky, Price has a passion for all things nursing. In the summer of 2025, Price began working at TRH as a patient care tech in Telemetry while also attending CU. Her hard work and academic excellence have paid off with the Taylor Regional Hospital Scholarship, a full-tuition award for CU students who aspire to become great nurses.

“Being chosen for this is such a big honor,” said Price. “I'm just thankful for Taylor Regional, Dr. Dickens, my family, and the OCU staff for helping me get here.”

School of Nursing Dean Dr. Michele Dickens expressed her gratitude to her student and TRH. “I am incredibly proud of Chloe and her accomplishments. Her commitment to her educational journey exemplifies the mission and values of Campbellsville University.”

The partnership between Campbellsville University and TRH is an example of how collaboration between education and healthcare can meaningfully impact the local community. “Together, we are strengthening the workforce pipeline, expanding learning opportunities, and improving access to high-quality healthcare providers. This partnership not only supports student success but also contributes to the overall health and well-being of the communities we serve. We are grateful for TRH’s collaboration and proud of the difference this work is making—today and for the future,” shared Dickens.

TRH Nursing Services Administrator, Shannon Davis, also expressed her appreciation for the partnership and its impact: “Together we are investing in the next generation of healthcare professionals who will care for and serve our communities.”

Price will graduate with her Associate of Science in Nursing in 2027 and then her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2028. After graduating, Price plans to continue working at Taylor Regional Hospital.
