Dr. Erica Callahan named Dean of Campbellsville University School of Chiropractic

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University has named Associate Professor of Chiropractic Dr. Erica Callahan as the new Dean of the School of Chiropractic. 

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Roberts Wesleyan College, Dr. Callahan developed a strong interest in the body’s remarkable ability to heal and thrive through natural approaches to healthcare. She continued her education at New York Chiropractic College, where she earned both her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition.

With more than a decade of experience in chiropractic and nutrition education, Dr. Callahan previously served as a clinical faculty member and associate professor at Northeast College of Health Sciences in Seneca Falls, NY. She joined Campbellsville University in September 2021 as Associate Professor of Clinical Nutrition and Biochemistry, and in 2023 expanded her role to include academic leadership as Associate Dean of the School of Chiropractic.

Dr. Trevor Foshang, Dean of Campbellsville University College of Health Sciences, expressed is confidence in Callahan’s leadership.

Dr. Callahan is passionate about helping students connect the foundational sciences of biochemistry and physiology to meaningful patient care. Her teaching emphasizes the powerful relationship between lifestyle, nutrition, and overall wellness, preparing future health care professionals to better understand the body in both health and disease. As an administrator, she is equally committed to supporting faculty excellence through mentorship, collaboration, and professional development initiatives that strengthen the educational experience for both students and educators alike.
