CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The first of Campbellsville University's six summer terms begins Monday, May 5, and it's still time for students to take classes as an opportunity for students to get ahead in their studies without so much hurt to their pocketbook.

Dave Walters, vice president for admissions and student services, said summer school at Campbellsville University is a bargain and a good investment both academically and financially.

Summer terms available are: May 5-24, May 5-June 28, June 2-28, June 2-July 26, June 30-July 26 and June 30-Aug. 23.

Undergraduate summer classes are offered at $365 per credit hour, which is less than half price of regular tuition. Summer term housing is available at a per week rate of $117 for currently enrolled students, and $168 for those who are not currently enrolled.

Graduate rates are as follows: (music, master of theology, teacher leader master of arts in education, master of science in counseling, master of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and rank I) at $385 per credit hour;

Summer term master of business administration, master of arts in organizational leadership and master of social work are $465 per credit hour; and master of arts in special education is $395 per credit hour.

Students can take summer classes in order to reduce class load in the fall and spring, which in turn could greatly reduce stress, Walters said.

There are many classes and terms offered over the summer. Some classes offered include: accounting, physical activity, freshman composition, college algebra, understanding music, fundamentals of speech, world civilization to 1650, survey of music theory, American government, general psychology and many more.

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 3,600 students offering 63 undergraduate options, 17 master's degrees, five postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs. The website for complete information is campbellsville.edu.
