CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University has expanded its academic offerings with four reenvisioned colleges of study that encompass every degree offered by CU. A new visual identity has been made in commemoration of this academic achievement and the new era of higher education for CU.

Since 1906, Campbellsville University has aimed to constantly innovate its academic program offerings to meet the ever-expanding and changing job market. With the need to adapt but also show that the core value of CU remained unchanged, a new vision statement was created in 2025: Centered in Christ, filled with hope, equipping students to shape the world. With these guiding principles in place, CU was ready to take its next major leap in higher education.

CU President Joe Hopkins expressed his excitement for what is to come, "This year marks a special milestone for Campbellsville University as we celebrate 120 years of Christ-centered education. Throughout our history, we have continued to grow, adapt, and find new ways to serve students while remaining faithful to our mission."

"As our university continues to expand academic opportunities, strengthen programs, and prepare for the future, this new identity honors our past and highlights our purpose; it helps represent who we are today while positioning us for the next chapter of our story."

The four colleges of academic study will house the programs CU offers to current and many future students.

The College of Arts and Sciences will serve as the canvas for the School of Education, School of Theology, School of Humanities and Sciences and School of the Arts.

The College of Business and Enterprise will now host the programs previously housed by the School of Business, Economics and Technology.

The College of Health Sciences will contain the School of Chiropractic, the School of Nursing and the School of Human Performance and Allied Health Programs.

The College of Mental Health will include the Carver School of Social Work, the Department of Counseling and Psychology, and the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Additionally, CU has been working behind the scenes to develop new opportunities for incoming students this fall, including the new agriculture program, a criminology degree, a sport performance degree, exercise science and kinesiology, a minor in youth sport recreation leadership, a Master of Arts in teaching moderate to severe disabilities program, and even more programs to be released within the coming year.

To commemorate this leap in CU's history, new academic and sports logos were created, along with new campus signage that will welcome new and returning students this fall.

"A lot of time, conversations and hard work went into this initiative. When presented with the opportunity of our visual refresh, many of our alumni and friends were excited and contributed not only to the actual input of the design but also their financial support of this important project," said Vice President for Advancement Benji Kelly.

CU Alum and Creative Director Jordan Antle shared his motivation and intentionality to honor CU's legacy when creating the new visual identity.

"When looking at the new university mark, we knew we wanted to keep the chapel as the focal point. The shield serves as an anchor. It plays a role in both academic and faith-based, through heritage crests and close ties to the 'Armor of God' or a 'Shield of Divinity.'”

Campbellsville University will continue to innovate and invest in its students by finding new opportunities to expand its outreach in higher education and workforce development. CU's mission remains dedicated to academic excellence, solidly grounded in the liberal arts, fostering integrity and Christian servant-leadership within a caring environment.
