Program Overview

Our Athletic Coaching Minor equips students with the knowledge, leadership, and practical experience needed to guide and inspire athletes at all levels. Through coursework in coaching theory, sports psychology, athletic administration, and team dynamics, students learn how to develop effective training programs and promote positive athletic experiences. Rooted in the university’s values of faith and servant leadership, the program emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and mentorship, preparing future coaches to make a meaningful impact both on and off the field. Whether paired with a major in education, exercise science, or another discipline, this minor strengthens your ability to lead, teach, and empower athletes to reach their full potential.
