Campbellsville University’s English as a Second Language program, offered at our Campbellsville and Louisville campuses as well as through CU Online, provides personalized instruction focused on improving your reading, writing, listening,

ESL and U.S. Culture Experience: Campbellsville University offers short-term ESL experiences that combine English
language instruction with opportunities to learn about American culture.
- 4-Week Experience: Offered in January or July, with 18 hours per week focused on English language skills
and American cultural experiences.
- 8-Week Experience: Offered in June and July, with daily instruction in grammar, reading, writing, listening,
and speaking.
To be admitted into the English as a Second Language (ESL) program at Campbellsville
University, international applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Application for Admission: Complete and submit the international student application to Campbellsville University.
- Passport Copy: Provide a clear, valid copy of the identification page of your passport.
- Proof of Financial Support: Submit a bank statement or other financial documentation showing sufficient funds
for tuition and living expenses.
- High School Completion: ESL-only students may not be required to provide proof of high school completion,
depending on their program goals.
